We would like you to meet Dr. Guido P. Gutter, a board certified Plastic Surgeon located in Martinsville and Danville, Virginia.

Before making an appointment for a consultation with Dr. Gutter, we feel that it is important for you to know something about his medical background.

A native of Berne, Switzerland, he received his medical degree from the University of Zurich, Switzerland. He was trained in General Surgery at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio. He then received his education in Plastic Surgery from Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Gutter was a Fellow at Hand Surgery Associates, Kleinert & Kutz, in Louisville, Kentucky.

As an Associate with the Bellevue Clinic for Aesthetic Surgery in Zurich, Switzerland he refined his skills in Cosmetic Surgery.

From 1987 to 2006 Dr. Gutter has been in private practice in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Gutter is Certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of many regional and national Plastic Surgery Societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Gutter has privileges with Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Danville Regional Medical Center. He has served as chief of Plastic Surgery at Durham Regional Hospital. As an Assistant Clinical Professor at Duke University Medical Center, residents are benefiting from his expertise and experience in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
